I can't believe Pat is gone. She was one of those people I thought would go on forever! She was always so energetic and could work forever! She would call when I was at the gas company with an issue with a house, we would take care of business and then solve the world's problems! The world is better for her being here and those who knew her are feeling her loss

Oh Pat - I am so sad about your passing. I met you in 2001 when I immigrated to USA from Africa and went to live with my daughter and son-in-law in Olathe, KS. You and Bob were always so welcoming and friendly and such hard workers for your neighborhood. You were my inspiration. Then in 2005 when I got my first job in the US you rented your duplex to me. You worked so hard to make it a beautiful first home for me and for Chris who joined me here in the US in June 2005. We loved living there and then in May 2013 and then we moved back into Nelson Circle right over the road from my daughter and four houses down from you. We had many evenings sitting around your kitchen table chatting about our families. You (like me) were so proud of your children and grandchildren. We talked about Bob after his passing and then about Craig after his passing. I saw your pain - God saw your pain. I truly regret not going for that lunch with Gloria that we kept talking about. So wish we had not put off doing more together - now it is too late. My deepest sympathies to your loved ones that are left behind to mourn your passing. You had an impact on many lives and that is why you will forever live in our hearts and memories. You are now with Bob and Craig and your family and friends that passed before you. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for your love. Rest In Peace dear friend. All the pain for you is gone.

My heart is so sad. Besides being my neighbor for many years, Pat was a very dear friend. We spent many times chatting at her kitchen table or in her yard or mine. She was so knowledgeable in so many areas and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. She was my “go-to” person. One year Pat and Bob gave me a wet/dry vac for Christmas. I used it from cleaning my fish pond to cleaning up the “helicopters” on my driveway. I told her many times it was a gift worth a million dollars. I still use that vac and when I do, think of the lady worth a million to me. I will miss her dearly.
