Harold Eugene Briscoe, 87, of Gardner, KS passed away March 28, 2019 at Villa St. Francis, Olathe, KS. Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 pm Fri., April 5, 2019 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS (913) 856-7111. Graveside service with military honors at 11:30 am Sat., April 6, 2019 at Ridgewood Cemetery, Council Bluffs, IA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com

Harold was born Nov. 21, 1931 in Ottawa, KS to William Harvey and Elizabeth Adelade (Musser) Briscoe. He grew up in Salina, moved to Council Bluffs, IA and to Gardner in 1994. Harold served as a Sgt. in the US Army for three years during the Korean War. He married Alice Louise Falk in Abilene, KS on Aug. 24, 1958. Harold worked as a Receiving and Loading Clerk for Pamida Shipping Co. in Omaha, NE. He was a member and served as a deacon at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Council Bluffs, IA. Harold will be missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Darryl Ray Briscoe and seven siblings. Harold is survived by his wife, Alice, of the home; sister, Wilma Jean Major, KC, MO; brother, Stephen Briscoe, Salina, KS and many nieces and nephews.
