Steven C  Ingram
Steven “Steve” Ingram, 44, of Gardner, KS, passed away January 13, 2012 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Cremation. There will be a private family celebration of life. Arrangements: Bruce Funeral Home, 913-856-7111. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com
Steve was born February 5, 1967 in Merriam, KS to Richard C. and Darlene F. (Wilson) Ingram. He was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribe. He was a 1985 graduate of Shawnee Mission West. He was a plumber. He worked for J. T. Maintenance and then was lead maintenance at Price Brothers Property Management in Overland Park, KS. He owned and operated FIXIT4U. He moved to Gardner 12 years ago. Steve married Hallie Wheat on March 13, 2004 in Eureka Springs, AR. As a youth, he was active in bowling leagues, loved to watch and play baseball. Steve and his brother Mike spent years on the golf course with their dad. He was an avid pheasant hunter with his boys and brother in law, he also loved to camp. Steve grew up with dirt bikes and continued his passion for four-wheeling in his Toyota trucks. His family was very important to him and he was an animal lover.
He was preceded in death by his father. Steve is survived by his wife Hallie of the home; sons Jacob Ingram of Overland Park, KS and Taylor Ingram of Manhattan, KS; daughters Danyel Trump of Lee’s Summit, MO and Jessie Scherzer of Gardner; mother Darlene Ingram of Overland Park; brother Mike Ingram of Linn Valley, KS and sister Denise Ingram of Overland Park; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
