Brooke "Brookelynn" Morgan Smith
Brooke “Brookelynn” Morgan Smith, 22, of Spring Hill passed away September 16, 2017. Funeral Service will be 10:30 am Friday, September 22, 2017 at Grace Community Nazarene Church, 19300 US-169 Spring Hill, KS 66083. Visitation 5-8:00 pm Thursday, September 21, 2017 also at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Emporia Kansas Animal Shelter, and or 4-H Livestock Scholarship. Brooke was born October 11, 1994 in West Hills, CA to Steven Todd and Cyndi Dianne (Beck) Smith. She grew up in California and Spring Hill and then graduated from Spring Hill High School in 2013. In high school, she was active in Kansas Rush Soccer, Cross Country, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, was a Design Editor of the year book, active member of SPUB, and was involved in Spring Hill Rustlers 4-H Club, where she had champion showmanship goats. Brookelynn then went on to attend Coffeyville Community College where she received her Associates Degree, spent a season at University of Mount Olive in North Carolina for soccer, and then transferred to Emporia State University, where she was completing her Bachelor of Arts; Liberal Arts & Sciences with an emphasis in Psychology this semester. She was a Collegiate Honor Student at Emporia and Coffeyville. Brookelynn attended Grace Community Nazarene Church in Spring Hill. She was training for her first marathon. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Brookelynn is survived by her parents: Cyndi Smith and Steven and Angela Smith; brothers: Bradley Smith of Lindsborg, KS and Garret Smith of Spring Hill, KS; grandparents: Margie Nelson of Reno, NV and Hans and Ramona Fischer of Midway, UT and her two cats Pinto and Keeks, who will not be orphaned but may live a gypsy lifestyle within our family.
